If John Hagee’s "Night to Honor Israel" extravaganza is any indication, Christian Zionism is a misnomer. From happy-clappy Jewish praise music, to love songs crooned to and about Israel, to a kitschy Hava Nagila; from invocations and benedictions that turn out to be sermons; from Muslim-bashing to Israel lauding; from dramatic processions to keynote addresses; from offerings taken and offerings given -- there was not a shred, a trace, a scintilla of Christianity in the proceedings. The PTA or the Rotary Club could well have sponsored it.
Of course, if Hagee wants to honor Israel and give it gobs of non-governmental funds that is certainly his privilege. But to promote this under the aegis of "Christian" is, frankly, fraudulent. But the "Night to Honor Israel" was worse than a fraud -- it was idolatrous, and this in two ways.
First, what was worshiped was the state of Israel, and more particularly, Jerusalem. Select passages culled from the Hebrew Bible, referring to Israel’s "right" to the land -- all of Palestine -- and an undivided Jewish Jerusalem were repeated again and again ad nauseam. What were not quoted were those passages that speak of the obligation to do justice and practice mercy. Part of the problem is in the word "prophecy."
Christian Zionists, as well as most fundamentalists and millennialists, use that word almost exclusively as a means to understand present, and predict future, events. [Jewish understanding of "prophecy" also differ from Christian Zionists.] Contemporary events, seen through the spectacles of "prophecy," lead to "Rapture" and "Tribulations" and "Second Comings" and "Armageddon." Biblical passages are interpreted to coincide with that scenario.
On the other hand, prophecy in its initial sense is a human agent (the prophet) who speaks God’s word for a particular existential situation.
Christian Zionists would be well advised, for example, to read the book of the prophet Amos as a corrective to these skewed interpretations of various passages often quoted from Ezekiel. Daniel, and Revelation.
Second, the adulation of John Hagee, as one who is becoming the most important leader of contemporary Christian Zionism, if not idolatry, comes awfully close to it. This cult of the personality was most striking at the "Night." David Brog, Executive Director of CUFI [Christians United for Israel] extolled the virtues of Hagee in the words, "Pastor John Hagee is not an important man. Pastor John Hagee is a great man!" With the cheering and clapping and whistling and stomping of feet and raised arms of the 3000 disciples at this announcement, I was reminded of Leni Riefenstahl’s film, Triumph of the Will, about the Nuremberg rallies in Nazi Germany. Hitler had his Gobbles; Hagee has his Brog.
Interspersed with religious rant from misinterpreted Hebrew Scriptures (the New Testament was not mentioned once, nor was Jesus; God got a tip of the hat only occasionally) was political bombast. Malcolm Hoenlein, Executive Vice President of the Conference of Presidents of Major Jewish Organizations, supplied this.
Two things were most disturbing: the advocating of violence and the racism of the Christian Zionist movement. Time and again Hoenlein, as well as Hagee, called for the bombing and possible invasion of Iran. Diplomacy is not an option since it simply conveys weakness to the 300 million (count ‘em) Muslim terrorists who "hate freedom" (that old canard) and who, if not stopped in Iran, will eventually come to our shores with suitcases full of nuclear bombs.
What is inherent in this scenario is the racism that declares the superiority of the West and western culture over against the East (read Middle East). And that racism is Manichaean -- in stark terms "they" are evil, "we" are good (so Hoenlein). The good must not only defend itself against the evil, it must wipe it out; it must obliterate it.
Finally, I am struck by the fact that throughout the speeches and the hoopla the centuries-old complaint of Jewish victim hood was juxtaposed with Israeli military triumph (also of the will), which (God?) will grant Israel. Victim or conqueror: You can’t have it both ways. Hagee closed his speech with "God bless Israel and God bless the United States of America." Implied is "and God damn all those who are not us.

The hunt for a copkiller
Investigators continue the manhunt for one of the suspects in the killing of a Philadelphia police officer.
Police are looking for 33-year-old Eric Floyd (pictured below).
The local police union has posted a $10,000 reward,bringing the total offered for information leading to Floyd’s capture to more than $45,000.
Tip calls have led police as far away as New York City in search of Floyd. Monday morning, investigators searched a train out of Trenton at New York’s Penn Station. A tip indicated he could be on board.
Police believe Floyd and two other men robbed a bank inside a grocery store in the city’s Feltonville section.
Officials said that Floyd had been sought after he escaped from ADAPPT, a halfway house in Berks County, before Saturday’s bank robbery. (more...)
Black Serial Killers EXPOSED - Harrison Graham
A mentally-retarded drug abuser, Harrison Graham was well-known in his Philadelphia ghetto neighborhood. Sometimes, he would amuse the local children with his "Cookie Monster" puppet; other times they found him digging graves -- for dogs, he said -- in nearby vacant lots. Apparently, no one suspected that his simple mind might hide a darker urge, compelling him toward homicide.
Graham had been living in the squalid hole since 1983, and he had not been idle. Officers began to search the neighborhood for Graham, house by house, while newsmen noted that the suspect's dwelling stood a mere three miles from Gary Heidnik's "house of horrors," where another ghoulish scene had been discovered five months earlier. The roof of Graham's building yielded skeletal remains of victim number seven, but initial warrants simply charged the missing suspect with abuse of corpses. Murder was not proven until August 11, when a medical examiner reported that the freshest victims had been strangled some time in the past ten days.
On August 14, another skull and partial skeleton were excavated from the dirt floor of a row house three doors down from Graham's building. He surrendered two days later and confessed to seven murders since the winter months of 1986. According to his statement, Graham picked up female addicts on the street, enticing them with offers of a fix, and brought them home where they were murdered after sex. On August 26, psychiatrists declared that he was competent for trial.
In April 1988, dispensing with his right to trial by jury, Graham laid his case before a solitary judge. Convicted on seven counts of first-degree murder and seven counts of abusing a corpse, he was sentenced to life imprisonment, followed by six electrocutions. The unusual sentence -- hailed by Graham's lawyer as "compassionate and brilliant" -- theoretically assures that he will never be paroled.

On May 3, 2008, journalists Joelle Farrell and John Sullivan wrote a piece entitled School Challenge for the Philadelphia inquirer. They opened the piece with the following sentence:
So what do you think “school officials” did? According to Farrell and Sullivan, “The Haverford School District consulted “experts” on transgender children, then sent letters to parents advising them that the guidance counselor would meet with the school's 100 third-grade students to explain why their classmate would now wear girls' clothes and be called by a girl's name.”
Parents were outraged, and wanted to know why the school sought to expose 8 and 9 year-olds to such deviant behavior, yes reader, I referred to it as deviant, it does in fact deviate from the norm, thus, by virtue of that fact alone, it is “deviant” behavior. (more...)

On Oct 16, 2004 AD, President Bush signed into law the global anti-Semitism review act; which is quite interesting. The United States state Department list the following sets of beliefs as being anti-Semitic.
1. Any assertion that the Jewish community controls government, the media, international business and the financial world is anti-Semitic.
2. Any strong anti-Israel sentiment is anti-Semitic.
3. Virulent criticism of Israel’s leaders, past or present, is anti-Semitic.
4. Criticism of the Jewish religion or its religious leaders or literature, especially the Talmud and the Kabala is anti-Semitic. [I wonder if that includes the traditions of the elders that Jesus criticized. “And woe unto the Pharisees” that Jesus said.]
5. Criticism of the US government and congress for being under influences of the Jewish/Zionist community, including AIPEC, is anti-Semitic.
6. Criticism of the Jewish/Zionist community for promoting Globalism, [the New World Order] is anti-Semitic.
7. Blaming Jewish leaders and their followers for inciting the Roman crucifixion of Christ is anti-Semitic.
8. Diminishing the 6 million figure of the holocaust victims is anti-Semitic.
9. Calling Israel a racist state is anti-Semitic.
10. Asserting that there exists a Zionist conspiracy is anti-Semitic.
11. Claiming the Jews and their leaders created the Bolshevik revolution is Russia is anti-Semitic. [I guess you have to revise history].

I am sorry that I have not been able to post anything the last few days. We have been busy however with things here. Yesterday we broadcast our Sunday morning church service over Stormfront. The difference this time was that it was broadcast both over the radio feed as well as Video feed. This was the premier “television” broadcast for Stormfront. This coming week our program, The Political Watchdog will be “televised” over Stormfront and next week, Derek Black (Theodoric) will be televising ” his programs over Stormfront. I believe that in June, Paul Fromm, Truck Roy, Don Black and David Duke will also begin broadcast televised programing also.
This is still at its infancy so there will be glitches that must be worked through as I am sure you understand.
Derek Black has been here since the Faith & Freedom Conference but will be returning to Florida on Thursday.
Yesterday we recorded a couple of commercials for Stormfront to promote the Sunday broadcast from the Christian Revival Center and I believe we are going to record a couple more for Theodoric’s Old Timey Arrangements Show today. Heritage Connection Band may also do a short music show on Sunday afternoon immediately after our church broadcast. It’s not definite, so we will have to wait and see how soon that will happen.

Jewish Debating Techniques #1

Oftentimes a lot of what we read enters the back of our minds at a subconscious level and it lies there, latent and gently percolating away until such time as an outside event prompts our conscious recollection of it. Such it was for Phaedrus with an old Patrick Grimm essay entitled 'The Taboo as Proof' (herewith today re-published below.) Taboos are very useful for putting sensitive subjects beyond debate, as Patrick himself pointed out. The one thing the Jews fear above all else is an even-handed and totally open investigation into their long and checkered history, for the ugliness thereby revealed would be simply beyond the belief of all bar the most heavily initiated of persons. Not surprisingly, therefore, the Jews have developed a series of techniques for stifling debate on such issues and avoiding having to address these sensitive matters AT ALL. This article is about one such technique and its most eloquent exponent, the 'British Jew' Alan Coren, who not-so-sadly died last year.
Those of us who espouse views which are generally taken to be outside the current spectrum of "acceptable opinion" by the popular media will - if we are lucky enough to get a platform in the first place - often find ourselves taken to task in the presence of a Jew by a hostile interviewer who falsely purports to be impartial. Many, many years ago, such encounters were the norm and indeed unfettered, free and open debate was quite properly regarded as the only viable route to establishing the real, underlying truth. But that was some decades ago when the Jewish stranglehold over 'permissible utterances' was very much weaker. I refer of course to those increasingly distant days prior to the advent of political-correctness.
Now, if one has something dreadful to hide for which one can offer no valid excuse, it doesn't benefit one to debate one's beliefs in the media spotlight, for fear of being caught short of an appropriate response to an unwelcome or unexpected question or accusation. The Jew, uniquely, has developed the perfect technique in such awkward situations: 'the disgusted walk-out.' (more...)
